His journey in music took a tragic turn after suffering from a knee injury at Southwest Texas State University which stopped his ambition to becoming a footballer.

Beyond music, Robison also went into television production, serving as a judge on the first season of the TV singing competition “Nashville Star” in 2003.
As his career went on, the singer found himself at odds with the expectations of the Nashville country scene. Robison transitioned to the independent label Dualtone for “Good Times” in 2004.
