For years, I’ve pretty much lived in sweatpants. It’s both a pro and con of working from home. Yes, I’m unbelievably comfy all the time, but also, I more often than not feel like, for lack of a better word, a slob. I’ve gone through phases where I get dressed in an effort to combat the feeling, but when the post-lunch bloat hits, I always think, “Why exactly am I in jeans?” Fortunately, last month I discovered a pair of pants that look good but feel like sweats, and I pretty much live in them now.

Gap’s Pull-On Cargo Pants have quickly become the only bottoms I want to put on, partially because the lightweight style is so comfy and soft that I basically forget I’m wearing them, but also because they’re so flattering. Between that, the $80-price tag, and the fact that I wear them all the time, I’m tempted to invest in another color.

These Gap cargos are available in five colors, including a khaki, white, black, navy, and green, and feature a relaxed fit shoppers call “perfect,” an elastic waist, and four deep pockets for ample storage. All design details together make the pants unbelievably comfortable and practical, so much so that I’ve worn these out on walks (no purse needed thanks to the pockets!) and even through a yoga flow where they allowed for easy movement without once slipping off. Plus, the lightweight  linen-cotton blend will keep me cool throughout the summer, with one customer even calling the material the “perfect balance between breathability and durability.” But, just as importantly, the pants look great. The oversized fit is on trend with the baggy bottoms taking over Hollywood while the linen material makes these easy to dress up.

Though you’ll most often find me wearing these casually with a simple white T-shirt and sneakers, the style can be instantly elevated with an oversized button-up and ballet flats, with one reviewer saying they dress theirs up with heels. They’re “effortless, stylish, and comfortable,” they wrote, a sentiment I share, while another said they’re “easy to wear with anything.”
