CONSERVATIVE political commentator Jesse Watters became a household name after he became a co-host of the roundtable series The Five.
On June 26, 2023, it was revealed that the Fox News political commentator would be taking over the network's evening primetime slot following Tucker Carlson's departure in April.

Jesse Watters is a co-host on The Five - which he joined back in April 2017 - as well as a host of Jesse Watters Primetime, which debuted in January 2022 on Fox News.
He also previously hosted the Saturday talk show, Watters' World but the show ended in January 2022.
On June 26, 2023, it was revealed that Watters would be taking over the network's 8pm hour, a role that was previously held by Tucker Carlson.
Greg Gutfeld, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and Trace Gallagher, will also occupy primetime blocks.

The new lineup is expected to take effect on July 17, 2023.
Despite his new role, Watters will reportedly remain a co-host on The Five.
