Nicki Minaj will be joining the voice cast of Angry Birds Movie 2. This was first reported by Variety. Minaj will join the likes of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Peter Dinklage, all of whom are reprising their roles from the first film.
Angry Birds Movie 2 is expected to hit theatres on August 16, 2019 and is directed by Thurop Van Orman. John Rice co-directs, while David Maisel and Catherine Winder are executive producers.
Nicki Minaj’ role is currently unknown, however, it won’t be the first time her voice is heard in a movie, counting Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Other Woman, and Barbershop: The Next Cut to her movie credits.
